RBA hosts EPL Stars (www.ranoadidas.com)

This was one of the official dinners for the earlier batch of EPL Masters Football Brunei Cup 2012 players - Andy Cole (Manchester Utd), Patrick Berger (Liverpool), Vladimir Smicer (Liverpool FC) and Steve Black (Masters). Also in attendance were members of the Royal Brunei Airlines Board of Directors and Senior Management. The dinner took place at Mutiara Ballroom at Radisson Hotel.

Royal Brunei Airlines also invited 10 winners of RBA's social media competition "EPL Masters Challenge" on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram which allowed participants to post an image that represented their passion for football.

In his welcoming speech, Royal Brunei Airlines Head of Corporate Services, Mr. Aji Puteh, said, "It's an honour to be working alongside ADSEM as a a sponsor to bring some of the finiest footballers in the world into Brunei to promote excellence to our community."

He added, "Brunei have also embraced the English Premier League wholeheartedly which is greatly evident when you pass by local coffee shops. We are grateful to meet some of the finest athletes in the world into Brunei who are here as advocates of sporting excellence to our community promoting that game we Bruneians love so much - football."

The EPL Masters Football Brunei Cup 2012 is organised by Adsem - Ad Sports Event Management, Masters Football Asia and Football Focus Asia, as is presented by B-Mobile Communications. The EPL MAsters Challenge competition on Instagram was in partnership with Brunika.

SCB gives away EPL Masters prizes

STANDARD Chartered Bank (SCB) recently held a prize presentation ceremony for the winners of their campaign held in conjunction with the upcoming EPL Masters Brunei 2012. The event was held at the main SCB branch in the capital. 

On hand to present prizes to the winners was SCB General Manager of Consumer Transactional Banking, Brenda Low.

The grand winners of the campaign were Amtan Hj Abas and Maslina Asang.

Amtan was presented with a signed LFC squad shirt, four Masters Tournament tickets and four Meet-the-Fans session tickets, whereas Maslina won a signed LFC squad football, as well as four tickets to the Masters Tournament and Meet-the-Fans session.

"We would like to congratulate all winners of our campaign and are pleased that it has been received well. Football is enjoyed passionately by so many of our customers and the community. We are delighted to be able to give the winners of our campaign the opportunity to get up close and personal with their favourite EPL Masters stars," said Brenda.

The campaign ran from March 8 to April 6, 2012 and was open to both new and existing customers of the Bank. The first 150 customers to sign up for the bank's Total Salary Solution package together with a credit card automatically received a ticket to an exclusive Meet-The-Fans session to meet six of the EPL Masters stars on April 20, 2012 at The Empire Hotel & Country Club. All new and existing customers with either Total Salary Solution, a Fixed Deposit with a Credit Card or a Student "$aver Account" were given chances to win weekly prizes as well as the Grand Draw prizes.
