IT IS going to be bigger and better!
Mark your calendar football fans, the EPL Masters Football Tournament Brunei Cup 2012 is back.
The one-day tournament will be held on April 21 at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas and it promises to bring more excitement.
This was announced yesterday during a press conference at the Members' Grill of the Empire Hotel & Country Club in Jerudong.
Three teams — Liverpool Masters, Manchester United Masters and EPL All Stars Masters — have all confirmed their participation.
The tournament will feature football legends and ex-players from the EPL such as Steve McManaman, Andy Cole, Vladimir Smicer, Jesper Blomqvist, Patrik Berger, Robbie Fowler, Gaizka Mendieta, Ian Walker, Darren Anderton, Pierre van Hooijdonk and many more.
However, it has not been confirmed on which local side will be representing the Sultanate this year.

Yesterday marks an important day for EPL Masters Football tournament. With the success of 2011, EPL Masters Football Tournament Brunei Cup is back once again this year to Negara Brunei Darussalam.
This year, Masters Football will be presented by the mobile service provider, B-Mobile Communications Sdn Bhd and is scheduled to awe the audience in about 3 months time. Masters is a 6 a-side indoor football competition in the United Kingdom, where players over the age of 35 are chosen by the Masters Football Selection Committee to represent a English Premier League club which they played for.
